TP stands for Technical Points. It refers to the score when it is converted from raw score to the timing when you hit the notes. Thus TP ≠ Score.
Note | Score% per Note | TP | Combo |
---|---|---|---|
COLOUR PERFECT | 100% | 100% | YES (Adds to Combo) |
BLACK PERFECT | 100% | 70% | YES (Adds to Combo) |
GOOD | 70% | 30% | YES (Adds to Combo) |
BAD | 30% | 0% | NO (Breaks Combo) |
MISS | 0% | 0% | NO (Breaks Combo) |
The difference between a black perfect and a colour perfect:
- The note colours determine MISS to COLOUR PERFECT.
- Tap notes based on press time.
- Drags have only MISS, BLACK and COLOUR PERFECT.
- Grades are Million Master, S, A, B, C, Fail (D if posted on FB or Twitter)
For example, if you MM a song and you want to know how many colour perfect notes have you scored here is an easy equation: Number of Coloured perfect notes= Total Number of Notes x ( TP - 70 ) / 30
