[Door Opens]

PAFF

They're back!

[Nora]

Mr. Jackson, I am so happy that you've returned.

Xenon

Let me take a look at the firewall.

[Nora]

I've already done the best I can, but each time I decrypt a certain amount, the system automatically shuts off. Then I have to start again.

Xenon

......
[»»»Fast Forward»»»]

Xenon

Strange...

[Nora]

What's the matter?

Xenon

This structure and logic... I'm very familiar with it. It most certainly came from Æsir--Ivy. Based on my understanding of her, her firewalls in the past used counter-attack methods, like memory alteration or destroying equipment; but these firewalls are merely shut-down systems. Looks like they allow for unlimited attempts.

[Nora]

That's not like her.

ConneR

This is just a guess, but there are two possibilities

Xenon

... Possibly. A provocation?

ConneR

As of now, we still don't understand her motives. But what I mean is... She wants to be discovered by you.

Xenon

Me? Why?

ConneR

Who knows? The only one who can measure up to her on the tech side is you. Ivy is incredibly intelligent. There must be a reason for this.

Xenon

... And the second possibility?

ConneR

She doesn't plan on injuring humans.

Xenon

......!You're the one who speculated that she was the culprit. Doesn't this contradict her actions in the city?

ConneR

When hypothesizing, one must courageously overturn one's own theory. Only then can one escape one's own biases. If she is not the culprit... then this game just got a whole lot more interesting.

Xenon

In any case, no matter what the situation is, we've got to find her first.

ConneR

After we find her, what is your plan? Our original plan was to stop her in the real world. But I'm sure you've got something more creative up your sleeve.

Xenon

... True. But it's a bit extreme.

ConneR

Let's give it a hear, shall we?

Xenon

... I'm sick of seeing your face. You knew long ago that things would turn out like this, didn't you? Blazing your way through there without knowing the enemy's firepower situation. It's not like you to think that's going to work. You knew that I would come back and think of a way to deal with this in the OS space.

ConneR

Hehe, I don't know what you're talking about.

Xenon

Forget it. With ROBO and your chip, can we really enter the OS space?

[Nora]

That's correct. We've already successfully done so several times. However, there are still many technical issues.

Xenon

I've basically looked over the data. First, regarding the time constraints. This equipment is the issue. If we can use the equipment at A.R.C[.], I think we can extend the time to 20 minutes and it won't damage ROBO's core.

ConneR

Is that so...

Xenon

When we were helping the citizens, Nate said that the Architects were headed for A.R.C. I don't know what they're up to, but we need to move even faster...Next, there are Ivy's firewalls. If I can get in the OS space for that long, they shouldn't be an issue.

Xenon

Lastly, please take a look at this module. This is how I want to stop her.
[Projection]

IV31

[Nora]

Is that...

Xenon

When I was battling it out with the Architects in the city, I analyzed some data on their core. Although the logic is extremely complex, I think this should be able to destroy them. I mean destroy them permanently. As you've probably already seen, these buggers are like zombies, they're  consciousness and actions are replicated.

Nora

......!

Xenon

However, I don't really understand the OS space. Nora, from this model, do you think this is possible? Can we "produce" this thing in the OS space?

[Nora]

... The OS space is an information storage space for consciousness after it has been digitized and emulated. Essentially, the logic is the same as the cyTus system that A.R.C. developed. The only difference is that it is much larger, by a long shot. So, in theory I believe it is possible. But... I haven't considered this method... I believe it is definitely worth a try.

Xenon

Comforting to hear. But such an action has a lot of conditions and restraints--First, this is just a model. If we are actually going to make this in the OS space, we are going to need huge connection bandwidth.

ConneR

Like Æsir-FEST, when Ivy used everybody's virtual internet chip[s] to create something? Just like following a recipe...

Xenon

Are you an idiot? We're wanted criminals. Where are we going to collect that many people's connection bandwidth? No one will be willing to help us. Or should we just start smashing people's heads in?

ConneR

Hey hey, how absolutely despicable do you think I am? No matter how hard I try, I wouldn't even imagine doing such a thing... But not a bad idea.

Xenon

Point is, our target is here.

[Nora]

The factory for manufacturing virtual internet chips? Yes, there we can get a lot of blank chips. But that would mean...

Xenon

That's right, we've got to steal them without anyone getting hurt.

ConneR

Hehe, I like this. Looks like the fully-charged "X" has finally arrived. No longer constrained by shallow morality. I love it.

Xenon

Next, as I just said, this thing will have its restraints. First, it can only be used on one unit, so we must choose our target wisely.

Xenon

We may only have one shot. When I was fighting with them I discovered that their systems can evolve. If the first time fails, or we pick the wrong target, they may become immune.

PAFF

......

Xenon

Ah, sorry. PAFF... All this may seem a bit complicated for you, but given the time restraints, it's the only method I could think of.

PAFF

... No, having Xenon back's given the whole team a huge boost! We already know where the target's at!

Xenon

This is just theory and a model. Without actual execution, the results are unclear. In any case, we'll begin with the first step. That is, we'll start by stealing the chips.

[Nora]

Everybody, I'm afraid our time is running low. Take a look.
[Crowd Panicking]

Xenon

......! A.R.C. headquarters...

ConneR

That group of Architects are racing towards the top and have already begun attacking.

Xenon

Their actions... are different from what we saw in the city. Besides the people who are trying to stop them, they're not actively attacking people. Almost like they're completely focused on heading towards that place... The people inside are in danger!

ConneR

Let's split into two. ROBO and I will take the chip factory. Mr. Jackson, you take the two girls to A.R.C. headquarters. We'll meet there.

Xenon

Alright, I'll let you handle it.

[Nora]

Head out. Prepare the car.

Yes, ma'am!
