Sasha

It's me.

ConneR

... What the hell are you doing coming in that way? Did you get into trouble or something?

Sasha

Relax, just wanted to make sure I didn't get followed... A habit I picked up back when we were working together.

ConneR

Haha, so you miss me? If that's the case, how about we run off together... somewhere far away?

Sasha

Still talking s***, I see? How's progress coming along?

ConneR

Hehe, relax. I've found another method for performing the analysis... the rest of the information on the chip is already being filtered.

Sasha

Somebody's feeling confident. Any leads?

ConneR

It's already broken through to the final layer, we just have to wait for the analysis to finish running. But even more interesting are the keywords that've been tagged... OPCII_2052_II, does that mean anything to you?

Sasha

A Type 2 Architect?... No, never heard of it.

ConneR

This ID was embedded within the serial number on the chip, however it looks like it's been overwritten at some point... You've researched the Architects from Node 13, I thought you might know something.

Sasha

How many Architects do you think have been here? You think I know 'em all by their first name?

ConneR

Hehe... So there are some things even you can't do.

Sasha

However...

ConneR

......?
Puts down heavy object

Sasha

This is all the news and hard copy data that has ever appeared on Architects. Although the relevant records have definitely been tampered with, I'm pretty sure there's no more complete collection out there than this.

ConneR

*whistles* Awesome~ Or so I'd like to say... However, I've already been through that stuff countless times.

Sasha

... Are you kidding me?

ConneR

I hate getting bored.

Sasha

Oh shut it... So, did you find anything?

ConneR

There was just one news article from the year 494 that mentioned that unit.

Sasha

494... not long before the Decommission. What was it about?

ConneR

Just so happened to be about the robbery of a Neumann Corporation freight train. Look, the model number of one of the law enforcement Architects just so happens to be the same as the one that was tagged... That's a pretty big coincidence, right? This Architect definitely had something to do with my family.

Sasha

... Interesting. So, the Neumann's were real Node 13 big shots, eh? And yet people still f***ed with 'em.

ConneR

Ha, even though I'm quite proud of the achievements of my family, from the look of these records the Neumann name hasn't always been squeaky clean. Especially around the time of the Decommission, where the records are particularly fuzzy... After all, they established the only privately operated, large-scale corporation at the time.

Sasha

Enough wealth to rival the Administration Bureau... Companies that massive tend not to help with class issues. No surprise that certain people were keeping an eye on the Neumanns... That's what you're getting at, right?

ConneR

Haha, exactly. However, this isn't what interests me most.

Sasha

Oh?

ConneR

Before the Decommission, every aspect of society was strictly monitored by the Administration Bureau. So, how was it that the Neumann family was able to establish such a powerful and influential corporation? How on earth did they manage it?

Sasha

That's probably why they were respected... or feared.

ConneR

Perhaps... But the most impressive one of all has got to be... this man.
Data Projection

ConneR

Rald Neumann. Following his meteoric rise to power, the Neumann name was associated with great things. People even went so far as to say that Rald was the great hero of the Decommission. His story is absolutely... enthralling.

Sasha

Well, well, well. Not too often I hear you speak like that, especially about someone other than yourself... But to be able to weather the Decommission and then restore the family name... doesn't sound like your average guy.

ConneR

It's a pity the records from that time are all so vague, it's impossible to figure out exactly what is was that he did. Looks like I'll have to wait for the analysis to finish and then connect to the chip myself to get to the bottom of it.

Sasha

If the chip really contains records of the Decommission... Ahh, now I'm getting excited. This might well be the most valuable historical record that's ever existed.

ConneR

Hold your horses, now! I'm the one who has to connect! What happened to being worried about my safety?

Sasha

Giving up your life for the sake of history... getting a scoop on the great Rald Neumann. Sounds like the kind of death you're all about, ain't that right, Mr. "R"?

ConneR

Haha... Well put.
Picks up chip

ConneR

I'm guessing OPCII_2052_II... just might be the key to all of this.
