CAPSO!

CAPSO! is a mechanic used for unlocking exclusive in-game content, including galleries, hit sounds (TapFX), character skins, songs, and bonus XP in Cytus II. It is one of the ways to unlock Glitch difficulties of songs, and it is the way to unlock Master Mode for Chaos and Glitch difficulties of songs. CAPSO! letters are earned in random quantities by completing songs, regardless of whether the CAPSO! IAP is purchased. When the full word is spelled out, 1 CAPSO! is obtained. A maximum of 99 CAPSO! can be held at once. It does not appear that there is any correlation between song performance and CAPSO! letters awarded.

Accessing CAPSO! Systems[]

CAPSO! (system) is accessible by tapping the Black Market on the character selection screen. From there, tap the "CAPSO!" card on the left. Access to the CAPSO! system must be purchased for US$9.99 before it can be used. CAPSO! can be spent individually or in groups of 10, with seemingly no difference in reward distributions.

The CAPSO SHOP! is also accessed from the Black Market menu via the "CAPSO SHOP!" card. Collections of in-game content can be purchased for CAPSO! or money. Access to CAPSO! does not need to be purchased in order to use the CAPSO SHOP!.

Master Mode is both accessed and turned off by pressing and holding the Chaos or Glitch difficulty icon on any song. Access to CAPSO! does not need to be purchased in order to use Master Mode. Master Mode removes score and replaces it with M.TP (master technical points), with stricter timings required to score well.

CAPSO! (currency)[]

CAPSO! (currency) can be spent in three ways.

CAPSO! (currency) can be spent via CAPSO! (system) in bundles of 1 or 10. The amount of CAPSO! spent at once does not appear to change the odds of receiving items. CAPSO! can reward players with new songs for Ivy (all of them have their Easy and Hard difficulty unlocked together, while Chaos is a separate pull), new songs for NEKO#ΦωΦ and Graff.J (which are unlocked with all difficulties), Glitch difficulties for certain songs (including paid character songs, which cannot be accessed unless the character is purchased), gallery images for various PAFF and NEKO#ΦωΦ's song artworks, tap FX (new sound effects for tapping notes), and character skins (new appearances for characters on the selection and results screens). CAPSO! can also reward players with EXP to help them level up characters faster, though it will not provide EXP to certain characters, such as certain free characters at certain levels or any DLC characters. There is also a chance for the player to receive only a few letters towards another CAPSO! from a pull.

CAPSO! can be spent in the CAPSO SHOP! for various collections of items. The VOEZ Collections and Halloween Skin Collection can be purchased for 50 CAPSO! or US$3.99. Shayan can be purchased for 41 CAPSO!, and Rayark 10th and Rayark 11th can be purchased for (missing).

Unlocking Master Mode for a certain difficulty of a song costs 1 CAPSO!.

CAPSO! are not saved in cloud backups of game progress, though unlocked content is.
