The Black Market is a store mechanic in Cytus II where you can purchase extra DLCs. It was released in version 1.3.
The player can access the Black Market by hitting the pink icon on the bottom left of the character selection screen.
There, you will be able to choose whether to look at song packs, or two other options, CAPSO! and CAPSO Shop.
Then, you'll be able to preview the song packs that have already been released. Currently, there are twenty-five available: Two Game Discs and a Battle Chaos 2019 pack for NEKO#ΦωΦ, two Memory Units for ROBO_Head, eight Marvelous Mixes for multiple characters (Paff, Neko, ROBO_Head, Crystal PuNK, Bo Bo and Graff.J), three Emotion Samples for Ivy, a Featured Article for Paff ,a PuNK EP for Crystal PuNK, a maimai DX+ collab pack, two DJMAX collab packs, two Muse Dash collab packs and two Initial G packs for Graff.J.
If you wish to go to the CAPSO! option instead, you will do so by clicking the left side of the Black Market. There, you can roll with either 1 CAPSO! or 10 CAPSO!, which you collect by playing songs and gaining letters from the word. The maximum amount of CAPSO! you are able to keep is 99. Rewards are songs/charts, skins, tap FX, gallery images and XP. However, since CAPSO! is purely luck-generated, there is a chance that you are able to get none of the rewards, and instead receive letters which are needed for you to complete a CAPSO!.
CAPSO Max
Near the bottom of the left side is the CAPSO shop, released in version 3.5. Here, certain packs can be purchased with either a certain amount of CAPSOs or the price of a song pack. As of version 3.8.5, there are eight packs: six VOEZ packs (each containing 3 songs and 1 skin, except for VOEZ Collection VI), a Halloween skin pack (3 skins) and a Tap FX pack with three versions of Shayan.
In rare occasions, Deemo (from Rayark's game with the same name), a Mandora, or Graff.J (a character made by Rayark for April Fools') may appear instead of the usual shopkeeper.

In the Black Market menu, the unavailable option (which is now the CAPSO option) was titled as "IzxYFjTzDZ3". If you spell it backwards ("3ZDzTjFYxzI"), the string is a link to a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZDzTjFYxzI. The link teases Graff.J as an April fools joke.
The Black Market icon is a reference to the date when the Black Market was first released. (May 31st)

Graff.J is the latest character to release a black market pack featuring their own songs: Initial G 2nd Stage was released on update 3.8.5.
ROBO_Head was the first character to have more than 2 songs released on a "Marvelous Mix" pack. In Marvelous Mix Vol. 3, he has 3 songs (Fade Into The Darkness, SHIRO, and Tunnef's Nightmare.)
All the songs from the maimai DX+ collab have sped up revolving drag note patterns, as a reference to the said arcade game.
Initial G 2nd Stage is the first pack to have all five songs composed by the same artist; in this case, the artist is Tsuko G.
