Having been put into action at the end of January 2016, these meetings have a very simple premise: the discussion of ideas for the Cytus Wiki.
I'll expand on a few things about these meetings.
1) The meetings will take place at the end of every month, in our Discord chat room. Discord is a much more versatile chat area that we're currently using in preference of the Live! Chat. In order to join, you just have to ask for an invite link, and click on said link within 24 hours.
2) Everyone is welcome...unless your intent is to vandalize and give harmful ideas, of course. Whether you're a staff member or a newbie, no one is excluded from giving their own two cents on how the Wiki should evolve.
3) On the contrary, these meetings are in no way compulsory. If you're busy on a meeting day and can't attend, it's completely fine. Everything discussed will be archived here for you to catch up on.
4) In no way should these meetings be interpreted as "formal and serious". Rather, the aim of them are quite the opposite. They're simply meant to be casual discussions where people voice their opinions and ideas.
Examples on discussion topics can be about the monthly poll, new page or template concepts, or just other ideas on how this Wiki could evolve. Though, if serious matters such as vandalism or issues within staff crop up, they may have to be brought up here as well.
This thread's main purposes will be:
- Alerting the Wiki about dates and times for the meetings.
- Archiving the matters brought up in every meeting.
- Discussing issues concerning the meetings. (optimal times so as many people as possible can attend, i.e.)
- Dropping off ideas should you be unable to attend a meeting. (so you can still contribute without being present ^^)
And that's about it. I hope this idea will help the Cytus Wiki expand even further! ^w^
