What's on your mind?
Ok so I've been thinking and cytus 2 could have an anime made in the future.
They have actual voice actors
They have an opening (Whole Rest)
Used to Be can be the ending for the anime.
There's enough storyline for at least 13-26 episodes
They have REALLY GOOD animators
They have an actual ending (the bad one is the real/true one)
Is there a Discord server for Cytus/Cytus 2?
I just want to start off by saying that this solution may not work for all cases but I just wanted to share how I was able to solve this problem. It might help somebody else, though.
I got a new phone (Android, OPPO Reno 2F) and transferred all my data from my old phone (Android, Huawei Y9 Prime I think) into this new one. On my old phone, Cytus ran just fine. But on my new phone, it wouldn't launch. It would just say something along the lines of "Best enjoyed with headphones" then turn white and unresponsive. So, I searched the net if anyone else was having this problem and jf there were any possible solutions.
Sure enough, this was a pretty common problem. I checked the reviews on the Google Play store and on the Cytus Wiki and a lot of people had the same problem, yet there weren't a lot of answers. Of course, I first tried uninstalling and reinstalling it on my phone. I tried 3 times but it wouldn't work. I also tried resetting my phone, but no dice.
The first "solution" that popped up on my search is [this youtube video.](https://youtu.be/jMVKVHbva0I). To summarize, he basically says to go into your phone's storage and to access the game's obb file and launch it from there. Now, this would probably work if you had the obb file in the first place. But in my case, there was no obb file at all.
So, moving on to the second method. I tried to transfer the obb file on my old phone to the new one. I shared the obb file to my Google Drive on my old phone and downloaded it onto the new one (Also, I didn't unzip the file). I then moved the obb file to the Cytus folder and tried to launch it from there. Didn't work, because there was no option to open it as an app. Maybe I did something wrong here and it might work for someone else. Maybe you could transfer the obb file to your phone through a different method. Or maybe you need to unzip it? I'm not sure. Just saying, because someone might find this helpful somehow.
Now this is the final and successful method I tried. I searched if the problem was with Google Play Store itself (I searched this because several other games had the same problem as Cytus, they wouldn't load. If anyone wants to know, it's Tone Sphere and Lanota.)
Anyway, to cut to the chase, the tutorial is [here.](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7513003?hl=en-GB)
I tried clearing the cache and data of the Play Store and restarting, but it still wouldn't work. So I moved on to checking the other items under the "If you're still having trouble" part. What finally worked for me is clearing the cache and data from Download Manager, Google Play Services, and Google Play Store. I also uninstalled the updates on Google Play Store, then reinstalled Cytus. I also made sure I had a stable WiFi connection and enough space. I'm not sure which one of these did the trick, but it's probably better to try all of them just to be sure. You don't lose anything anyway if you clear cache from an app.
I paid for the full version of the game over on my old phone and I didn't have to do the restore purchases thing. One thing though, is that I lost all my progress on the game, even if I was already connected to Play Games. But maybe that's because I haven't set up my transfer things and whatnot.
Side note: This also works for other games from the Play Store that won't load. This worked for my Lanota and Tone Sphere that previously had the same problem.
Side note 2: Don't trust pirated APKs or free APK downloads of Cytus on the internet. I tried two APKs from two different sites and none of them worked.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone out!
Not sure why there wasn't an update for Cytus 2 :( but there is a glitch where numerous reviews for android version of Cytus 2 have voiced that the app starts and remains a black screen and won't start the game.
I've been waiting more than a month to play Cytus 2 again and hoping for an update :( please review and correct the glitch so we can finish the story like everyone else!
The game wants to show that the universe of Cytus should not depend on players. If Cytus were to happen in real life, there would be no player to kill Vanessa, as there would be no game. The "bad" ending is the real one because in it the player does not change the story and allows Cytus events to happen naturally.
It took me a few days to recollect myself after nearly pulling an all-nighter to finish up Cytus 2's story and finally reaching the end the next day. That took a turn I was not expecting nor was I expecting the "boss battle" to be so intense, holy crap! I was crying after it was over... Thoughts? Make sure to try and avoid spoilers for those who didn't finish Cytus 2 yet, though I did put a spoiler tag just in case.
I just bought Cytus II on a new iPad, and I was wondering if I could keep the data from my old iPad, and transfer it to this new one. I click cloud sync, however, and the data doesn’t transfer. The only possible reason I can think of as to why this occurs is that my old iPad does not have the most recent version of Cytus II. If I clear out data space on my old iPad and update Cytus, will I be able to sync my data?
Anyone know the code for that last OS file for Miku? I figured it'd just be the only code you see during her other files, but it doesn't work. Maybe I missed something?
I have a problem with Cytus II cloud saving system. For some reason, i got stuck in infinite circular-arrow loading every time i connected to internet. But its gone when i went offline (i still can save the data for some reason).
The main problem is, my friend have the same problem in his new device, but all of his paid character dissapeared, while the total score still there (need to buy the character again, but the total score from his previous device still there). I REALLY wanted to buy a character, but i'm afraid my account got the same result as my friend's. Can anyone help?

So... whenever I start Cytus II on my phone, I always have to replay the tutorial. Not only that, but my save file is also gone, had it not been for cloud saving. Does anyone have the same problem, or even better, a solution?
I have the latest version of Cytus II on an Android version 4.4.2
In the past, I've edited the "Trivia" section of a few Cytus II songs to elaborate on its role in the story. For example, Jakarta PROGRESSION being the first song ever written by ROBO_Head.
I've been thinking about taking these pieces of information out of Trivia, and instead putting it in its own section, called "Story significance". Perhaps this section could be hidden in a spoiler tag and require clicking on it to "open" it and reveal its contents, since some of these could get pretty spoiler-y.
Any objections or comments?

I max-leveled Paff, Neko and Robo just recently to level 46. How do I progress the story?? Do I have to pay for the DLC characters to read more into it or wait for the next update? ;_;

--- Spoilers ahead obviously --- This new update not only gives us new songs, but also brings us a bit more story, and it's a doozy! Apparently Mono got rid of their contract w/ PAFF! What shocks me more is that they blame HER for the damage to their property as well as the incident where Cherry got injured during a riot. What kind of nonsense is that?! The COMPANY was the one who lied and kept her missing status hidden for days, how is their decision PAFF's fault?! The rioters, retarded and overly violent as they r, r mad at MONO for lying to them, not PAFF! Theyre worried about PAFF and some "posts" in the "social media app" even has fans talking about looking for her. now i see y ppl r so disgusted w/ Mono. Everything's starting to make sense now, but the question still remains: did PAFF in fact run away as Mono claims...or did something happen to her and Mono either a) isnt aware or b) covering it up?
Obviously do not read beyond this point if you haven't played Cytus 2 up until the CURRENT ending (capped the three free characters to level 35).
This story update went live for almost a week now and I just got to it today. It's sadly pretty short, but they'll no doubt expand on it later in another update, yet the plot thickens nonetheless! When we last left off with the story, we finally discovered with certainty that Aesir-Fest indeed occured and Aesir did make an appearance, however, there was still no explanation as to why everyone's memories were quite literally wiped nor why people ended up ill every time they attempted to recollect memories of that day, NEKO was still in custody, theres no news on PAFF, and we still aren't sure if what happened at Aesir-Fest or the recent strings of hackings are connected. We are also left with this mysterious android whom appears to be referred to as "Vanessa". Is it THE Vanessa from the first Cytus? Well, we aren't sure yet. Anyways, with the latest update and story expansion, we begin with Xenon and Cherry picking up NEKO from the precinct and we discover NEKO has been released from custody (*sarcastically* yaaaaaaay...), and we also finally find out why there have been no news on PAFF: Mono has been covering up the fact PAFF has left the hospital without notifying anyone and has gone missing!
Now i'm not 100% sure what's going on in Cytus 2, but it's not as vague as Cytus was, so here's what I believe the plot is thus far: As we see in the game's opening, a virtual event called Aesir-Fest has been announced by the legendary DJ/musician by the same name (Aesir). Without any explanation, according to Xenon and a a few others, there was a "blackout" and everyone that participated in the event suddenly have no recollection of what happened that day...not only that, but Aesir appears to have completely vanished from the radar. On top of that, there have been a string of hacks and incidents that would cause users to become ill and they may even fall into a coma. One such incident affects participants of pop idol, PAFF's virtual concert, causing PAFF, as well as users, to collapse into a coma. Another incident affects streamer/musician, NEKO, as well as countless users when a mysterious call goes out, which, for unknown reasons, leads to NEKO's arrest for interrogation. While this is all happening, users and another DJ/musician, ROBO_Head, try to piece together what they can remember of Aesir-Fest and figure out what exactly happened. At the same time, Xenon, as well as his ex-girlfriend and former bandmate Cherry, take it upon themselves to try and figure out who's behind these hackings personally rather than waiting for an explanation from the "admins". During their investigation, they happen upon a warehouse where they encounter a young woman (or girl, however you wish to interpret her), who appears to see Xenon and Cherry as a threat and opens fire, wounding Xenon. Thanks to Cherry's quick reaction and sharpshooting, no one was seriously injured and the woman was terminated...and that's not just an odd choice of words; Xenon and Cherry find out the woman was in fact an android. Who she is and who sent her is left unknown (for now). Meanwhile, ROBO_Head finally uncorrupts his data of the day Aesir-Fest occurred and discovers the event did in fact take place; this discovery leads to many users recalling some memories of that day with more clarity, but only just barely. Users are a bit shaken to find out someone managed to completely erase everyone's, except entities like ROBO_Head, memories of Aesir-Fest...and what scares them most is that they don't know why nor if this is going to lead to something much bigger. Fast forward a few days, NEKO's charges are appealed and she is released from custody, meeting up with Xenon (who may be her boyfriend?) and Cherry. Not long after, news is finally given about idol PAFF's condition after fans have been waiting impatiently for such news as well as disappointment after disappointment from a series of long-awaited concerts that only end up being cancelled at the last second. The news, however, isnt good news... Fans are left shocked and outraged when Mono, the company that sponsors PAFF, finally makes public that PAFF somehow escaped the hospital where she was recovering and has disappeared without a trace. At an unknown point in time, a transmission goes out in an attempt to contact someone by the name of "Vanessa", an android in the form of a young, pink-haired woman, who appears to be in a chamber of sorts in an unknown location...
The story expansion leaves us more questions than answers. What are everyone's guesses of what's happening? Personally, I believe Aesir himself is behind the hackings, or is at the very least an accomplice, considering every "glitch" in the game has some sort of connection to Aesir. As for PAFF's situation, the unnamed android Cherry "killed" and this "Vanessa" I'm not sure yet...I need more information to come to any sort of theory/conclusion.
